May Tree Arts is a small, independent creative studio rooted in the symbolism of the hawthorn—a tree long associated with protection, renewal, and the threshold between one season and the next.

A place to step out of the everyday for a little while.
A place to learn, make, experiment, and grow.

At May Tree Arts, that means two things: serious, process-focused art experiences for young people, and private studio access for the mothers and caretakers who spend so much of their time making space for everyone else.

Advanced art workshops for curious, committed young people.

Our weekly youth workshops are designed for high-school aged students who want to go beyond the typical art-class experience.

Through printmaking, book arts, collage, drawing, painting, and other hands-on processes, students learn to work with materials thoughtfully, develop their own ideas, and become more confident making creative decisions.

The emphasis is on process, experimentation, and developing an individual voice—not making thirty identical projects.

Small groups. Serious attention. Lots of room to explore.

For mothers & caretakers: a private space to make room for yourself.

You don't need an office, or a coffee shop, or a co-working space.

Sometimes you just need somewhere outside the house to work on the thing that's yours.

May Tree Arts offers private studio access for mothers and caretakers who need a welcoming furnished place to create, work, meet with clients, or simply have uninterrupted time away from home.

Come for a few hours. Bring your supplies, your laptop, your client, or your current obsession.

No lease. No shared desks. No networking required.
